Handled with care

Privacy Policy

Your reflections deserve privacy, respect, and care.

A quiet introduction

WhyAmIHere.io was built around a simple belief: that the things people share when reflecting on their lives deserve to be treated gently. This page is here to tell you, plainly, how we do that.

We collect only what we need to give you a meaningful experience, and we handle it with the kind of care we'd want for our own thoughts.

What we collect

To make the experience work, we may collect:

  • a name or nickname you choose to share
  • the answers you write during your reflections
  • payment-related information, processed securely through Stripe
  • your email address, if you provide one
  • basic analytics and cookie information used to improve the experience

Payment details are handled directly by Stripe through their secure systems. WhyAmIHere.io does not store full payment card details on our servers.

How we use it

The information we collect helps us:

  • generate your personalized reflection report
  • improve the experience over time
  • process payments reliably
  • provide support when you need it
  • keep the platform running safely and smoothly

Privacy & respect

Your personal reflections are never publicly shared. We don't sell your information to advertisers, and we don't trade it away.

What you write here stays between you and the small space we've built to hold it. We treat your responses with care and confidentiality, the way we'd want our own held.

A note on AI-generated content

Your reflection report is created with the help of AI. The insights it offers are interpretive and reflective in nature — meant as gentle prompts for your own exploration, not as definitive answers about who you are or who you should become.

What you take from them, and what you leave behind, is entirely yours.

Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to keep improving it. Nothing invasive — just the basics.

If you'd prefer not to allow cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings at any time.

Keeping your information safe

We make reasonable efforts to protect your information and to keep our systems secure. While no online service can promise absolute security, we treat the responsibility seriously and continue to improve the safeguards we have in place.

Your choices

You're always in control of your information. You may:

  • contact support with any questions about your data
  • request deletion of your personal information, where applicable

We'll do our best to respond thoughtfully and quickly.
